Gaming Cafes:Making the best of Online Gaming

Recently launched ‘ZAPAK’ has given a new dimension to online gaming .On line gaming requires adequate and higher bandwidth availability, right P.C. specifications and quality games. There is a need of adequate gaming cafes that can build a gaming culture. For high-end online games the right P.C. specification is another key factor. High P.C. costs due to advanced graphic card, RAM and motherboard deter users from getting into online gaming and this is where a gaming café would work. A connection of 500 kbps is required to play an online game that involves multiple users from far flung places, different locations and with rich graphics for the complete experience. Industry observers opine that cellular operators and ISPs should do more to make bandwidth available without glitches for on line gaming. They cite the example British Telecom and DoCoMo who have tie ups that allow Playstation and Xbox games online. In December last year,Zapak launched a two player multiplayer game on cricket where two players separated by a continent can play against each other. There are also plans to resell games such as ‘Quake 4’.Korean gaming companies like Hanbitsoft,Ndoors ,Ncash are also taking to gaming distributorship to resell their games in the Indian market. These efforts are bound to build the online gaming market
